Job Summary:

Arcadis Canada is seeking a Project Manager with Canadian consulting experience in the planning, design, construction, and operation of water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance projects for industrial, First Nations, and municipal clients. The successful candidate will lead projects, ensure compliance with provincial/federal regulations, and build relationships with federal, provincial, and municipal officials and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful and timely delivery of challenging and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Apply knowledge of regulatory and permitting requirements for various jurisdictions
  • Collaborate with the Canadian team to leverage technical resources and knowledge for client service
  • Provide high-quality service to clients by possessing exceptional technical and managerial skills in the design, construction, and operation of wastewater facilities and related infrastructure
  • Field activities may include reconnaissance, site investigations, and/or site observation

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance planning, design, construction, and operation. Key qualifications include:

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada
  • Masters degree in civil engineering with water/wastewater treatment specialization preferred
  • Experience with industrial and First Nations projects would be an asset
  • Project Management experience, PMP designation would be an asset

Desirable Skills:

The successful candidate will have an inclination for involvement in planning, design, construction, and operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure, interest in participating in regional and/or national professional associations. Experience with First Nations water and wastewater programs is an asset. Other important attributes include:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
