Job Summary:

The Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining servers, operating systems, and software, administering Microsoft 365 applications, providing Tier 3 technical support, following change management and incident management procedures, maintaining hardware and software inventories, traveling for installations and maintenance, ensuring security applications are up to date, enforcing IT policies, performing server backups and restores, documenting infrastructure, meeting support and personal goals, evaluating new technologies, assisting in disaster recovery activities, drafting monthly operational reports, and providing after-hours support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain servers, operating systems, and software
  • Administer Microsoft 365 applications
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support
  • Follow change management and incident management procedures
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories
  • Travel for installations and maintenance
  • Ensure security applications are up to date
  • Enforce IT policies
  • Perform server backups and restores
  • Document infrastructure
  • Meet support and personal goals
  • Evaluate new technologies
  • Assist in disaster recovery activities
  • Draft monthly operational reports
  • Provide after-hours support as needed

Requirements:

  • Hands-on technical knowledge of in-house network, server, and platform operating systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and solutions including, Azure AD, InTune, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online
  • Experience with Microsoft corporate office solutions such as Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Windows 10 & 11 Enterprise
  • Strong system administration (Linux/Unix or Windows) at the command-line level
  • Proficient in creating and configuring Active Directory Group Policy Objects
  • Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with data management and knowledge of data privacy practices and laws
  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information
  • Working experience in Microsoft Azure, including public cloud operations, networking, Storage, and archiving
  • Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
  • IT technical certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Fundamentals, 365 Fundamentals, Cisco CCNA/CCNP are an asset
