Workday System Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday System Analyst to join our People Operations Team at UserTesting. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR technology with business needs, focusing on optimizing our Workday HRIS platform to support the company's evolving HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday, including researching, troubleshooting, recommending solutions, and resolving system issues.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by actively seeking opportunities for process enhancement and automation.
  • Support a comprehensive Workday system, including HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Benefits, Absence, Talent, and Data Analytics.
  • Develop and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, custom reports, and dashboards to meet the organization's needs.
  • Oversee the administration of Workday, including user access, permissions, and security configuration.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by adhering to data architecture and governance models.
  • Manage bi-annual Workday releases by tracking new features, assessing impacts, and presenting relevant updates to business teams.
  • Participate in strategy planning to implement new Workday modules as needed based on the roadmap.
  • Recommend, implement, and plan for improvements and enhancements in the Workday system.
  • Provide end-user support and training, manage tier 2 People team ticketing system inquiries, advise and consult with employees on systems-related topics or issues.
  • Leverage Workday analytics and other People tools to provide insights for business partners to drive data-informed decisions related to organizational health, diversity, performance, and other key HR metrics.
Requirements:
  • Post-implementation experience with Workday, including intermediate to advanced experience in core Workday concepts and configuration.
  • Experience managing multiple Workday modules, including HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Benefits, Absence, Talent, and Data Analytics.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Human Resource programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Workday Pro certification is a plus.
