The BC SPCA is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional medical care to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to clients and their pets, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, communicate with clients, and provide education on pet health and animal welfare.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of care and exceptional client service.
  • Advocate for animal welfare and quality of life, building strong relationships with clients and other BC SPCA departments.
  • Contribute to business development and participate in training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice medicine and in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia (CVBC).

  • Strong computer skills and ability to work safely with and around animals.
