About the Role

As a Lead Game Production Manager at Ubisoft Montreal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development journey of our exciting new game projects. You'll be responsible for orchestrating every aspect of production, ensuring a seamless and successful workflow from conception to launch.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with producers and creative directors to define the overarching vision and project requirements for each game.
  • Develop comprehensive project roadmaps, timelines, and budgets, outlining key milestones and deliverables.
  • Structure the production team effectively, leveraging individual talents to maximize efficiency and creativity.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Establish clear communication channels to foster collaboration between internal teams, external partners, and co-development studios.
  • Monitor project progress meticulously, providing guidance and support to associate producers and production managers.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine production processes, seeking innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive work environment that empowers the team to deliver their best work.

Your Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven experience in production management within the video game industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of development pipelines and methodologies.
  • A strong educational background in Project Management or Business Administration, coupled with practical experience in leading complex projects.
  • An innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new approaches to production challenges.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach, fostering a culture of shared success.
