Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team as a Contract - Sr. HR Generalist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR functions, including performance development, coaching, full-cycle recruitment, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Division Success
    • Assist Managers with setting performance goals and facilitating performance evaluations
    • Identify performance issues and provide coaching and development opportunities
  • Employee Relations
    • Act as the main point of contact for employee and manager relations issues
    • Mediate conflicts and conduct investigations as required
  • Talent Acquisition
    • Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition for the division
    • Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for all roles
    • Conduct exit interviews to identify areas for improvement
  • HR Policy and Compliance
    • Work closely with HR leadership to identify unique needs and challenges of the division
    • Ensure HR policies are tailored to address these specifics
    • Regularly update and refine HR policies to reflect changes in legislation, organizational objectives, and feedback from employees and managers
  • Training and Development
    • Design and deliver training programs to educate managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
    • Provide support and clarification on industry standards that impact HR policies and practices
Requirements
  • Education
    • Post-secondary degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent education
  • Experience
    • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and documentation
    • Limited knowledge of aviation regulations as it relates to training and documentation requirements
    • Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and quick to learn new technology
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Organizational skills
