Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team at 1026433 B.C LTD. dba End of the Roll NANAIMO. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling practices.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick orders and stock, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Labeling and Packaging: Make labels and attach to goods, and wrap goods for shipping.
  • Sorting and Stacking: Sort, crate, and stack goods, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space.
Work Environment

Our warehouse operates in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. You will be required to work in a confined space with dusty conditions. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical skills, collaborative attitude, efficiency, energetic personality, goal-oriented, hardworking, integrity, outgoing, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, time management, dependability, excellent oral communication, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions

Our warehouse operates in an urban area with public transportation available. You will be required to work 40 hours per week in a permanent position.
