Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to work on a one-day assignment in a warehouse setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately counting and recording inventory using a Zebra handheld scanner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerized inventory control systems to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of stock.
- Manage and prioritize tasks to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Record the quantity, type, and value of stock available, and maintain accurate records.
- Organize the warehouse in a clean, effective, and safe manner, adhering to company standards.
- Read and understand inventory lists, and complete tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a positive presence and sense of urgency, delivering excellent output and meeting deadlines.
- Prolonged standing with occasional walking, repetitive motions requiring movement of hands, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to relay information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using a calculator.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and adhere to a flexible schedule.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience with an RF scanner is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
The successful candidate will work in a warehouse setting, with a focus on inventory management and organization. The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
