Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Utilize technical drawings and specifications to guide maintenance activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety standards and protocols

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) diploma and Red Seal Certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance, with a strong background in rotating equipment
  • Proven knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors
