About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our healthcare workers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet visitors and patients with a welcoming presence, providing a positive and professional experience.
  • Prevent Security Incidents: Monitor site visitors, perform ID checks, and prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond professionally to site emergencies, including alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters.
  • Communicate Effectively: Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events to management and other relevant parties.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding security incidents, security violations, and hazardous occurrences on site.
  • Patrol the Facility: Regularly patrol the facility to prevent potential conflicts and ensure a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Enjoy working with the public and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Standing and Mobility: Be comfortable standing for long periods of time and able to move quickly in response to emergencies.
  • First Aid/CPR Certification: Hold a valid First Aid/CPR certification (an asset).
  • Eligibility to Work in Canada: Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Security or Customer Service Experience: Have prior experience working in security or customer service.
  • Bilingualism: Be bilingual (where applicable).
