Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team at Denny\u0027s Restaurants. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, conferences, and meetings that exceed our guests\u0027 expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote Conference and Meeting Services: Develop and implement strategies to promote our conference and meeting services to potential clients.
- Assist in Budget Preparation: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets for events and ensure that expenses are within approved limits.
- Coordinate Conference and Meeting Activities: Oversee the planning and execution of conferences and meetings, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
- Coordinate Media Services: Arrange for audiovisual equipment, microphones, and other media services as needed.
- Coordinate Set-ups and Staging: Ensure that event spaces are set up and staged according to the client\u0027s specifications.
- Confirm and Coordinate Speakers: Confirm speaker details and coordinate with speakers to ensure a smooth presentation.
- Implement Registration Systems: Develop and implement registration systems for events, including online registration and payment processing.
- Implement Social Programs and Services: Plan and implement social programs and services, including food and beverage, transportation, and other amenities.
- Plan and Arrange for Accommodation and Transportation: Arrange for accommodation and transportation for event attendees as needed.
- Plan Schedules, Goals, and Objectives: Develop and implement schedules, goals, and objectives for events to ensure successful outcomes.
- Plan for Required Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documentation, including itineraries and evaluations, is prepared and distributed to attendees.
- Plan for VIP Arrangements: Coordinate VIP arrangements, including special seating, catering, and other amenities.
- Plan for Social Events and Guest Programs: Plan and implement social events and guest programs to enhance the overall event experience.
- Manage Event Logistics: Oversee the logistics of events, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
- Staff in Various Areas of Responsibility: Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, including event coordination, registration, and logistics.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
