Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team at Denny\u0027s Restaurants. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, conferences, and meetings that exceed our guests\u0027 expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote Conference and Meeting Services: Develop and implement strategies to promote our conference and meeting services to potential clients.
- Assist in Budget Preparation: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets for events and conferences.
- Coordinate Conference and Meeting Activities: Oversee the coordination of conference and meeting activities, including logistics, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
- Coordinate Media Services: Arrange for media services, including audiovisual equipment, microphones, and speakers.
- Coordinate Set-ups and Staging: Ensure that all event spaces are set up and staged according to the client\u0027s specifications.
- Confirm and Coordinate Speakers: Confirm speaker details and coordinate with speakers to ensure a smooth event.
- Implement Registration Systems: Develop and implement registration systems for events and conferences.
- Implement Social Programs: Plan and implement social programs, including food and beverage, transportation, and other services.
- Plan and Arrange for Accommodation and Transportation: Arrange for accommodation and transportation services for event attendees.
- Plan Schedules, Goals, and Objectives: Develop and implement schedules, goals, and objectives for events and conferences.
- Plan for Required Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documentation is prepared and distributed to event attendees.
- Plan for VIP Arrangements: Coordinate VIP arrangements, including special seating, catering, and other services.
- Plan for Social Events and Guest Programs: Plan and implement social events and guest programs for events and conferences.
- Manage Event Logistics: Oversee the management of event logistics, including catering, audiovisual equipment, and other services.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
