Job Title: Senior Developer

Job Summary:

Highbrow LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automate Regression Testing: Develop and implement automated regression testing harnesses to run regression batches overnight or ad hoc to reveal issues.
  2. Test Data Production: Assist in producing test data for new services being developed.
  3. Integration Testing: Improve integration testing scripts and setups to enable Business Analysts and Developers to test common scenarios more quickly in lower environments.
  4. Manual Testing and Debugging: Assist with manual testing, debugging, and investigation of critical projects across various domains.
  5. Unit Testing Framework: Improve the unit testing framework across C++/C# code bases, including auto-generating test cases.
  6. Code Refactoring: Apply static analysis and refactor current code to rectify identified issues.
  7. Defect Blitz: Focus efforts on blitzing defects.
  8. Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current process flows and help transition to FPF server.
  9. Disaster Recovery: Evaluate and ameliorate typical disaster recovery scenarios, including services going down and data center dropping.
  10. Alerting: Improve alerting mechanisms.

Requirements:

  1. Development Experience: 7+ years of development experience.
  2. Technical Skills: Experience with C#/.NET.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Web Application Experience: Experience working with Web Apps.
  2. Trading Environment Experience: Experience working in a Trading environment.
  3. C++ Experience: Experience with C++.
