About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Chicko Chicken. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate special events and buffets, and ensure that all food and beverage requirements are met.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that all staff are aware of food safety and quality procedures.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
