Integrated Human Services Navigator
Location: Full-time Permanent: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Join the Parry Sound District Social Services Administration Board and contribute positively to our community through impactful human services.

We are currently looking for Integrated Human Services Navigators to adopt a comprehensive approach within the Income Support and Stability division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with individuals and families to create personalized service plans that focus on specific goals aimed at enhancing life stability and overall well-being.
- Report directly to the Supervisor of Income Support and Stability.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of eligibility, employability, housing requirements, and necessary support services for participants.
- Provide assertive case management and coordination with community service providers in accordance with directives, organizational policies, and relevant legislation.
- Assist participants and families in completing necessary applications and documentation to access additional support and financial resources.
Qualifications:
- A two-year College Diploma in a field related to Human Services.
- Membership with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is advantageous.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a social service setting.
- Experience in case management, trauma-informed care, and working with individuals facing complex challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues is preferred.
- Proficient in computer-managed documentation and familiar with the ethical standards of human services.
- Possess a valid class G driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel as needed.
