Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:


  • Conducting proactive and reactive security patrols to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Writing detailed reports of incidents and events.
  • Investigating routine incidents and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Enforcing parking and smoking regulations, as well as maintaining policy awareness and enforcement.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you must have:


  • A valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C from a WSIB-approved source.
  • Minimum 6 months of healthcare security experience (or relevant equivalent experience).
  • Proof of CV vaccinations.
  • Ability to:
    • Complete extensive patrolling of interior and exterior of site (including in inclement weather).
    • Remain calm in emergency situations.
    • Follow and enforce site rules and regulations.
    • Operate independently as well as part of a team.
    • Complete reports at the end of shift as well as incident reports.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset.
