Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator, Senior to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our in-house-built critical ERP System, SAMenu.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Administration & Support: Manage, configure, and administer the SAMenu Application and Oracle DB landscape, ensuring seamless integration with other applications.
  • Incident Response: Monitor, detect, analyze, and resolve SAMenu issues, defects, and outages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • On-Call: Participate in on-call rotation to perform operational and administrative activities that require attention outside of regular working hours.
  • Spec Approval: Assess and approve specifications prepared by the Business Analysis team to resolve issues and develop change or enhancement requests.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the management team and business analysts to prioritize, plan, and coordinate SAMenu development tasks to build and integrate new, improved, or enhanced functionality.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of database design and data standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLSQL or equivalent DB development languages.
  • Experience with Oracle Databases hosted on AWS.
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio, GIT, Azure DevOps Server.
