Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at our Sault Ste Marie - Great Northern clinic. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients and contributing to our success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.
- Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing environment, preferably in retail or healthcare.
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
- Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional patient care.
- High level of comfort using technology and computers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
