We are seeking a skilled Optical Associate to join our Sault Ste Marie - Great Northern clinic. As a critical member of our team, you will deliver world-class service to our patients, often being the first point of contact.

This part-time, permanent role involves working up to 29 hours per week from Monday to Saturday. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service and educating clients about eyewear choices
• Informing patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assisting with frame selection
• Interpreting optical prescriptions and performing frame and facial measurements
• Placing Contact Lens orders and assisting with fittings
• Communicating with patients and managing appointment bookings, prescriptions, and billing
• Upholding excellent customer service standards and providing a positive patient experience

• Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment
• Previous optical experience is considered an asset
• Passion for customer service and a high level of comfort using technology and computers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
