Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Optical Associate to join our team at our Sault Ste Marie - Great Northern clinic. As an Optical Associate, you'll play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, providing exceptional customer care, and helping us achieve our mission of improving eye health and vision care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Assist patients in selecting the best eyewear options for their lifestyle and needs
  • Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment
  • Previous optical experience is considered an asset
  • Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional patient care
  • High level of comfort using technology and computers
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
