Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Team, you will be responsible for coordinating projects, liaising with clients and municipal stakeholders, and completing engineering designs and studies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Coordination: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Client and Municipal Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and municipal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  3. Engineering Design and Studies: Prepare and review engineering design drawings and reports, and conduct site visits to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Role Accountabilities
  1. Project Engineer: Lead existing projects and urban development projects, ensuring timely completion and quality deliverables.
  2. Design and Engineering: Collaborate with the civil engineering team to develop designs that align with business objectives and meet client needs.
  3. Technical Design: Manage all stages of technical design, including engineering disciplines and resource planning.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a focal point for project-related communications with clients, and work closely with the civil engineering team to ensure project success.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Education: A university degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  2. Professional Certification: P. Eng status or eligibility for registration with PEO is required.
  3. Experience: 5-10 years of land development design and municipal infrastructure experience at increasing levels of responsibility.
  4. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office.
