We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sake Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
- Order supplies and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we are managing our resources effectively.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 30 hours per week.
