About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Domo Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to health and safety protocols.
