About the Role

Fabmec Inc. is seeking a skilled Design Draftsperson to join our team in the field of architecture and engineering. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and designs for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings and designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and drafting standards are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
Requirements
  • AutoCAD Certification
  • SOLIDWORKS Certification
  • Experience with Tekla, Internet, Desktop applications, Word processing software, Computer-aided design (CAD), AutoCAD, SolidWorks software, MS Office, MS Windows, and Spreadsheet
  • Strong understanding of architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, buildings and structures, and mechanical components
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
