We are seeking a highly skilled Design Draftsperson to join our team at Fabmec Inc. in a full-time position. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and designs for various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and plan the most efficient approach to complete tasks.
- Design and Drafting: Create detailed drawings and designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, and ensure accuracy and precision in all work.
- Certifications and Training: Maintain and upgrade certifications in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in using Tekla, Internet, desktop applications, word processing software, and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Area of Specialization: Focus on architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, buildings and structures, and mechanical components.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and be able to sit for extended periods with occasional standing and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and a team player.
