**Job Summary**
The Nutrition Specialist works as a member of the Healthcare Team to provide customer-focused nutritional care, including nutritional assessments, counseling, and recommendations for diet modification, nutrition support, medications, labs, and IVs.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Provide nutritional care to patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in both ambulatory and in-patient environments
• Develop and implement evidence-based practice in the professional milieu
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and excellent interpersonal, customer service, and team communication skills
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
**Requirements**
• Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Minimum of two years clinical nutrition experience in an acute care hospital preferred
• Experience in critical care areas and ICU
