Job Summary:

Evertz is seeking a highly skilled Systems Pre-Commissioning Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for configuring and testing systems based on system configuration drawings, troubleshooting system interoperability issues, and interfacing with customers for FATs and gathering system workflow information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and test systems based on system configuration drawings, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot system interoperability issues, utilizing your analytical skills to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Interface with customers for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), gathering system workflow information and providing expert guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Perform other related duties as required, contributing to the growth and success of Evertz.

Requirements:

  • 3-year Electrical Technology Co-op or 4-year Electrical Engineering program, with a strong foundation in electronics and electrical systems.
  • Experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, time management skills, and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.
