About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Clerk to join our team at BC Hydro. As an Engineering Clerk, you will provide administrative support to our engineering team, ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the engineering team, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project progress, including tracking deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and expense tracking to ensure project financials are accurately managed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures, and report any incidents or near-misses to the relevant authorities.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Workplace Information: This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office and remote work.
