Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of claims professionals to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to minimize losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Claims Handling: Oversee the claims process from initial notification to resolution, ensuring timely and fair outcomes for customers.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow business revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or college diploma in a relevant field, such as insurance, risk management, or business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in claims management, risk management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of property insurance.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Certifications: CIP or FCIP industry designation, or equivalent.
