We are seeking a qualified teacher to support classrooms from Kindergarten to Grade 8 on a long-term occasional basis.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide teaching support to classrooms from Kindergarten to Grade 8, covering daily unfilled teaching assignments and short-term classroom absences. This is a long-term occasional teaching assignment, starting as soon as possible until approximately June 27, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:- Support daily teaching assignments and cover short-term classroom absences from Kindergarten to Grade 8
- Provide teaching support to classrooms, including lesson planning and delivery
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
- Teachers must hold one of Primary, Junior, or Intermediate qualifications
- First consideration will be given to Certified Occasional Teachers on the WCDSB Daily Occasional Teacher List
- Second consideration will then be given to external certified teachers
