About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Executive Director, Access, Patient Transport and Emergency Response. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector and contribute to the success of Interior Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement access and flow strategies to improve patient care and reduce wait times
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Patient Transport Office and emergency response teams
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless response to emergency events
  • Oversee the development and implementation of bed management systems and other access and flow technologies
  • Collaborate with clinical operations teams to improve patient flow and access to care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners, including government agencies, regional hospital districts, and indigenous leaders
