Truck Driver

CANADA INC is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance
- Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo
- Transport and handle dangerous goods, and obtain special permits and documents as required
- Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Provincial/territorial and long-haul transportation experience
- Health care plan and other benefits
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
