Concrete Finisher

MAGIC SHADE PAINTERS INC. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications.
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Prepare tenders and quotations for concrete work.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Instruct apprentices on proper techniques and safety protocols.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Estimate costs and materials for concrete projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Bonus for meeting quality and productivity targets.
- Commission for successful project completion.
