Key Responsibilities
  • Wine Program Management
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive wine list that showcases a diverse selection of wines from around the world.
    • Work closely with our wine supplier to ensure that our wine inventory is always up-to-date and that we are offering the best possible selection to our customers.
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train and educate our staff on wine knowledge, including wine regions, grape varieties, and wine-making techniques.
    • Ensure that our staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wine, and that they can provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage our wine inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing wine.
    • Ensure that our wine inventory is always up-to-date and that we are not overstocking or understocking any particular wine.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, including answering wine-related questions and making wine recommendations.
    • Ensure that our customers have a positive experience in our bar and that they feel welcome and valued.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent wine knowledge and a passion for wine.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask.
