Job Title: Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in oncology.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a related field.
  • Certifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
