About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Qualifications: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required. You must be licensed to practice medicine in Canada and hold a certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Work Setting: You will work in a hospital setting, providing care to patients with cancer. You must be willing to relocate for this position and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Certifications and Licenses: You must hold a licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and have a certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Specialization: You must have a specialization in clinical medicine, specifically in medical oncology.
  • Screening Questions: You must be able to answer the following questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Are you willing to relocate for this position? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment? Do you have the required certifications? What is the highest level of study you have completed?
