About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Alpha's Discovery Kids Preschool and Daycare. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our preschool and daycare programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers
  • Assist early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Support early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Engaging Children in Activities
    • Telling stories and teaching songs to promote language and literacy skills
    • Preparing crafts and activities to enhance fine motor skills and creativity
  • Guiding Children in Daily Routines
    • Assisting children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Preparing Meals and Maintaining a Safe Environment
    • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
    • Maintaining a clean and safe environment that promotes the health, security, and well-being of children
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Attending staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
    • Communicating effectively with early childhood educators, supervisors, and parents
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
