About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Seaspan ULC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical systems on our vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure the efficient operation of our mechanical systems.
  • System Design and Development: Plan and manage projects, preparing material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to our team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in marine mechanical engineering, with a focus on project management and system design.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and 3D graphic software.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
