Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Seaspan ULC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supervising and inspecting the installation of mechanical systems, developing maintenance standards, and planning and managing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems
  • Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in marine mechanical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D graphic software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
