Position Overview

Family Meats 2018 Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Meat Processing Specialist to join our team. This role involves various tasks associated with the preparation and cutting of meat products in a professional environment.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

The position is set in a cold/refrigerated meat processing facility, ensuring a safe and compliant work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform the slaughtering of livestock and ensure the removal of inedible parts from carcasses.
  • Execute slaughtering procedures for cattle, calves, and sheep in accordance with established religious guidelines.
  • Divide beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses into primal cuts for further processing or packaging.
  • Prepare specific cuts of meat and poultry for institutional and commercial distribution.
  • Remove bones from meat products as required.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior meat cutters.
  • Trim and prepare standard cuts of meat efficiently.
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing.
Equipment Proficiency

Familiarity with the following tools is essential:

  • Cleavers
  • Knives
  • Power cutting tools
  • Saws
  • Stunning devices
Physical Demands

The role requires:

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina and strength.
