About the Role

GK ELECTRIC LTD. is seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including underground wiring and cables, surface mount and/or overhead cables, and power generation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including ground faults and circuit integrity issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical system designs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated with other building systems.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant electrical training or certification.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
