About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team at Westend Electric Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Design and construct low-voltage electrical systems, including multiphase services and power generation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and issues, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Supervise and train junior electricians and apprentices, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
