About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Coatings Specialist to join our team at Accumetal Manufacturing Inc. as an Industrial Painter. In this role, you will be responsible for applying coatings to various metal products using a range of techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Work Areas
    • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Apply Coatings
    • Select and apply the appropriate coatings to meet the required specifications.
    • Use hand-held spray guns and electrostatic methods to apply coatings to metal products.
  • Inspect and Maintain Quality
    • Inspect coatings for quality and adherence to specifications.
    • Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting production deadlines.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a related field.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
    • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
