Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Coatings Specialist to join our team at Accumetal Manufacturing Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and coating various metal products, with a focus on surface preparation and finishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare work areas for painting and coating operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate application of coatings
  • Operate equipment to spray or coat metal products with high-quality finishes
  • Select and mix paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and textures
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dusty and noisy environment, with occasional exposure to odors. The work site will require standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
