About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Coatings Specialist to join our team at Accumetal Manufacturing Inc. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including hand-held spray guns and other machinery.
  • Apply paint and coatings to small items and perform touch-ups using paint brushes.
  • Select and mix paints to achieve the desired finish and color.
  • Operate equipment to spray or coat surfaces, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications.
Work Environment

As an Industrial Coatings Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be exposed to dusty, noisy, and odorous conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity are essential for this role.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility, organization, and reliability are key qualities for this position.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
