Role Summary
We are in search of a proficient Technical Sales Engineer who can effectively connect our technical offerings with client requirements. Your engineering knowledge combined with sales expertise will be pivotal in fostering growth, nurturing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions. Previous experience in technical sales is essential. The role primarily involves office work, but client visits and participation in trade shows are integral parts of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizing specialized software to generate comprehensive technical quotes
- Processing customer orders efficiently
- Achieving sales objectives
- Interpreting and analyzing technical specifications
- Providing expert technical assistance to clients
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Participating in production meetings to address client needs
- Maintaining regular communication with production teams
Essential Skills and Qualities
- Experience in the industrial fan or HVAC sector is preferred
- Proven track record in technical sales is required
- Ability to comprehend detailed technical documents
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence in engaging with clients through various channels
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks
- Self-driven and capable of working independently
- Team-oriented mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Relevant qualifications such as A Levels, HNC, HND, or a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Sciences
Compensation
Salary is negotiable within the range of £40,000 - £50,000.
Working Hours
Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Additional hours can be worked Monday to Thursday to allow for an early finish on Fridays, along with the option for hybrid working.
Leave Entitlement
