Onsemi is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the assembly and test operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production tools and equipment, with a focus on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production tools and equipment, including Pick and Place tools, Furnaces, Ovens, Inspection stations, lithography tools, wet benches, Encapsulation, Saw, and Final Test.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Product/Test/Process Engineering, and Facilities, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Support the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts and best practices.
- Prepare and submit daily reports detailing maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement, ensuring timely delivery of required components.
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, and job performance, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Post-secondary education with a technician diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in equipment maintenance, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts based on business needs and training requirements.
