HVAC Technician Apprentice Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician Apprentice to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing HVAC equipment, performing general inspections, and promoting our home comfort products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
  • Service HVAC equipment, accessory items, for residential customers.
  • Perform general and other inspections of all types of appliances for residential users.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.
  • Adhere to all safety rules.
  • Explain the benefits of newer, high-efficient equipment to customers.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
  • Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean, and safe standard.
  • Promote Reliance Home Comfort products and services on every call.

Requirements:
  • A growth mindset and a strong work ethic.
  • Must meet Company requirements with respect to general qualifications and have completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Must be an installer or technician.
  • Must have Gas Technician '2' (G2) license and 2 years of HVAC experience.
  • Must be registered in the Apprenticeship program.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
  • Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
