Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent The Link in the community, promoting our programs and services to youth and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with youth, community organizations, and stakeholders to support the development of our youth-focused initiatives.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of community outreach and engagement activities.
  • Support the development of youth-led projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to identify and address the needs of youth in the community.
  • Provide support and guidance to youth participants in our programs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • A combination of experience and/or education in a related field.
  • Experience working with high-risk youth and/or in a community outreach role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • Ability to travel within the city of Winnipeg.

Working Conditions:

This is a term position with the possibility of extension based on funding. The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working evenings and weekends when operationally required.
