Description:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical professional practice both independently and as a part of a collaborative team. Your responsibilities will include providing prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management. You will also participate in the planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical professional practice in a collaborative team environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with patients/clients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of rehabilitation services
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Current member of Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists
  • Current BCLS-HCP certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Effective assessment, treatment, and education skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
